Minor screw up need help.

Hello all,

As the title states i made a bit of a mistake when transferring my 12g reef to my 25 gallon cube. Apparently i over looked the fact that my 100% new reef crystal water was going to mix up really high on alk cal and mag. The new tank right now is at 10.5 alk 500 calcium and 1500 mag. The tank all my coral came from ran consistently at 8.4 alk 450 cal and 1350 mag. At this point i have some really upset sps that im really hoping not to loose. My birds of paradise has turned a weird pink brown color when it was just bright greenish blue hours before the move. Everything else is a bit upset but not looking like death just yet.

My question are should i just stick with these levels or should i let them drop over time?

Should i still do a weekly water change?

Will my coral rebound after they become adjusted or should i do something asap.

I only have 1 clown fish in this tank and a cleaner shrimp with some crabs and snails.

Here are some pics of the old tank and some of the new tank.

Let it fall naturally back to the old parameters. Any damage that was done is done, dropping it rapidly will just make things worse. I bet it looks better in the morning.

Have you checked ammonia? Running carbon?

I did not with only 1 clown a using the same cured rock that was in the 12 gallon. I figured this to be a non issue. I would check it now but i am not currently with the tank.

May have stirred up some detritus... but I doubt it is an issue. Tank transfers seem super easy but sometimes it takes a bit for the tank to catch up.
