The tank is a standard sized 120 gallon (48"x24"x24") with a corner overflow. I hang my lights 8.25" above the black plastic trim of the aquarium. I would assume the lights are 9" or 9.25" above the water surface.

Would you share what your current light set-up is? It looks like in your previous posts that you were running a combination MH/T5. Are you using just the ATI 8x54's on your 120?

I am in the process of getting ready to purchase lighting for my 120 and I was leaning towards the ATI 6x54 as my tank is only 16" front to back. I am anticipating only an LPS dominated tank.
